GreenMaps addresses the Wallacean shortfall, the gap in what we know about where species live. Raw occurrence records leave most plants known from a handful of places and leave whole regions unsampled. GreenMaps provides predicted native range maps for about 202,000 vascular plant species, built with species distribution models calibrated to each species' dispersal ability and natural habitat.
